About our service

We are an independent multi-brand appliance repair service. We are not an authorised service centre of any brand, and we are not affiliated with any appliance manufacturer. Brand names are used only to describe the appliances we repair.

Booking a visit

• • Bookings are confirmed by phone or WhatsApp before a technician is assigned.
• • Please share the correct address, appliance brand and fault details so the technician can carry suitable tools.
• • Visit timings are indicative and may shift due to travel, weather or an earlier job running long.

Charges and estimates

• • A doorstep service visit starts from ₹399 and covers inspection and diagnosis.
• • Any repair cost or spare part cost is quoted for your approval before work begins.
• • Work proceeds only after you approve the estimate. If you decline, only the visit charge applies.
• • Charges for spare parts vary by brand, model and part availability.

Spare parts

Where a part must be ordered, we will tell you the expected timeline before collecting any advance. Part availability depends on the supplier and the age of your appliance.

Service warranty

We provide a 90-day service warranty on the repair work carried out. The warranty covers the same fault on the same appliance. It does not cover new or unrelated faults, physical damage, water or power surge damage, rodent or pest damage, tampering, or repairs attempted by another person after our visit.

Customer responsibilities

• • Provide safe access to the appliance, along with water and power supply where needed for testing.
• • Keep valuables and fragile items away from the work area.
• • Inform us of any earlier repair attempts on the appliance.

Limitation of liability

Our responsibility is limited to the repair work we carry out and the charges paid for that work. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, ageing components that fail later, or loss of stored food or laundry.

Personal data and data protection

We process your personal data — your name, phone number, service address, appliance details and the messages you send us — only for the purposes you consent to when you book a repair, as described in our Privacy Notice. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you are the Data Principal and Universal Service Center Mysore is the Data Fiduciary for this data.

Consent is taken separately for each purpose, is never pre-ticked, and can be withdrawn at any time by contacting our Grievance Officer or submitting a data rights request on this website. Withdrawing consent for a purpose that is necessary to complete an active repair may mean we cannot continue that repair.

You may ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it once it is no longer needed for the repair, warranty or a legal obligation, and nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.

Technicians and spare-part suppliers who receive your details act as our Data Processors and may use the data only to complete your job. We do not sell your personal data or use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Our Grievance Officer is the first point of contact for any data protection complaint and responds within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mysore, Karnataka.
